Hello Fashion Lovers! This week I’ve embarked on a fashion mission! Autumn is here, leaves are falling, the temperature is dropping AND our wardrobes need revision! I’ve rounded up my favorite five pieces from five of my favorite shops!

Kicking off the action is RIVER ISLAND. Always one of regular haunts, the store’s current focus is on their collaboration with style queen Rihanna. The collection is very true to the singer’s lifestyle and has some seriously quirky aesthetics, neon, cameo, monochrome and luxe sport pieces. The collection is ultra Rihanna and a real celebration of her unique take on street style. I’ve chosen one of my favorite pieces from the collection below:

This LBD is blends a soft nineties reminder with a strictly modern feel. I do warn you, upon trying this joyous garment on I was slightly alarmed with just how fitted it is. If ordering online and between sizes I strongly recommend a truthful size selection. I think this dress can be styled in two very different ways, firstly addressing the strong luxe theme from the shows, metallic accessories, sky high heels and BIG hair. Another suggestion is to sever all ties to your girly go-to’s and stick on your cropped leather jacket, army boots and think grunge!

The next piece that caught my eye is this fun cropped jumper! The moustache motif has been popular for quite a few seasons now, celebrated usually in small accessories its been growing(pardon the pun!) as an urban go-to graphic. The crop-top reigned supreme this summer, but the crop-jumper is a little more difficult to style. My take is to channel your inner Grease, throw on a high-waisted skater skirt, plimsolls and rock that pony tail.

Along with the crop-top another summer trend that I just can’t seem to shake is bohemian, festivals all over the world saw different takes on this floaty, flowery theme. This Chelsea Girl top offers bohemian detail in the stunning crochet and also ticks off the monochrome box. Its a great staple that can be dressed up or down. Bleached skinnies, black ballet flats and a bold colour blazer for day. Black leather shorts, platforms, a red-lip and serious strut can carry this beautiful blouse to a dance floor near you!

A blazer has always been an autumn staple, and this green one beckoned me from across the shop floor! Green, mean and clean(lines) this blazer is melting my heart. Its appropriate for the season and brightens up our usual expectations of an Autumnal colour palette.

This bag is so on-trend, its hitting ombre, luxe, drama, and will make a stunning addition to a simple LBD or even to a canvas of over-sized jumper and leggings.
